I recently got this question: :Does travel insurance and health policy cover Corona virus? My response: a. Travel Insurance: They are taken to provide emergency medical treatment when a person is traveling out of India. Policy does not state which diseases are covered and which are not. Hence, it will also be covered. b. Any hospitalization on account of corona virus will be covered under any Health Insurance policy that has In-patient hospitalization cover. Again, no health policy is for any specific disease or medical condition.
