• India - Extends the last date for applications under MEIS, SEIS, ROSCTL, ROSL and 2% additional ad hoc incentive from 31.01.2022 to 28.02.2022
• India - Publishes clarification regarding applicability of social welfare surcharge on goods exempted from basic and other customs duties/cesses
• India - Seeks to amend various notifications giving exemption to electronic items and medical devices

• Chile - Establishes phytosanitary requirements for the importation into Chile of fresh banana fruits
• Japan - Adopts amendments for Maximum limit for Deoxynivalenol in wheat and Standards of beverages
• Chinese Taipei - Notifies that Imported livestock and poultry meat products used as food shall be accompanied with official health certificate issued by the competent authority of the exporting country

• India - Notifies standard operating procedure (SOP) on regulatory action against malpractices in disposal of used cooking oil
• Canada - Permits manufacturers to voluntarily increase the amount of vitamin D in in cow’’s milk, goat’’s milk, and margarine
• New Zealand - Adds a requirement for an import permit when importing Musa tissue culture
• Thailand - Proposes to revise qualities and standards of certain plastic food packaging
• USA - Proposes to amend the procedures by which they determine that a premarket notification for a food contact substance (FCN) is no longer effective

• El Salvador - Establishes the principles and guidelines of the Good Manufacturing Practices
• South Korea - Proposes amendments to the regulation on the labelling of precautions for use of cosmetics and ingredients as allergens

• USA - Amends the current energy conservation standards for certain classes of consumer furnaces
• Israel - Makes standards voluntary for Residual current operated circuit-breakers , PVC packages , ammunition for non-military use , etc.
• Peru - Establishes technical regulation on hydraulic cement used in buildings and constructions in general
• Saudi Arabia - Publishes technical regulation for escalators and moving walkways
